TIARNA FLEMING
My name is Tiarna Fleming, I am 19 years of age and live locally. I am an Early Childhood Educator at Community Kids Pre School. I have been dedicated to dance for many years, firstly as a student, then as a performer, and now dance teacher.
I discovered my passion for dance at a very young age. I wore my first pair of tap shoes at 18 months old. I have been taking dance classes since the age of 2. A majority of my dancing days as a student were spent at Fiona’s Studio of Dance. During my time, I have enjoyed learning many forms of dance such as Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, and contemporary.
I’ve competed in competitions, solo and as part of a Troupe. I performed in Star Struck for five years, four of those years I was chosen in the Tap Ensemble with The School of Performing Arts and Hunter Dance Festival.
I danced in the School Spectacular and I was chosen to dance in two dances at the opening ceremony of the Children’s Olympic Games.
I taught jazz, tap, and hip hop at M.A.D Dance before taking on my new role as a teacher at Triple Threat.
My love and passion for teaching are what drives me every day. I strive to uplift and empower my students through my visibility, and inspire them to express and embrace themselves through dance. I am ecstatic and look forward to sharing my love of dance with my students at Triple Threat.
